Roosterfish and snapper inside the calm Golfo Dulce, or marlin, sailfish and tuna offshore. Private charters planned around your Osa Peninsula stay.
Fishing on the Osa Peninsula
Puerto Jiménez is the main town on the Osa Peninsula, on the western shore of the Golfo Dulce, one of only a few tropical fjords in the world. Inside the gulf the water is calm and holds roosterfish, snapper and jacks. Outside, deep water close to shore brings marlin, sailfish, tuna and dorado within easy reach.
Tell us where you’re staying, in town or at a lodge around the gulf, and we’ll arrange the meeting point and transfers.

The Osa coast is known for blue and black marlin. Tell us billfish are the goal so we match the boat and trip length.
Hard-fighting and great eating. Ask for a tuna-focused day or a mixed offshore trip.
The rocky shores of the gulf and the Osa coast hold the classic inshore species.

Getting to the boat
When you book, we’ll confirm:
Most visitors reach Puerto Jiménez by a short domestic flight or a long drive. Schedule your first fishing day after you arrive, and we’ll check timing for your dates.
Planning around the Golfo Dulce
The two towns face each other across the Golfo Dulce. Puerto Jiménez is the base for the Osa Peninsula side; Golfito is across the gulf, where many of the boats are docked. Base yourself where you’d rather stay, and we’ll handle the meeting point.
